Merci à Flore et à Sujatha de m’avoir fait partager ce moment !
Car toutes les danses en Inde, ici le Bharata Natyam (originaire du Tamil Nadu), demande non seulement une connaissance très pointue des techniques d’expressions des pas, mains (mudras) et du visage (et même des yeux !), mais aussi un savoir concernant tous les détails vestimentaires, des bijoux et du maquillage.
Entre 1h30 et 2h de préparation avec Sujatha pour maîtresse de chantier, moi comme photographe et aide ponctuelle (pour apporter des trucs, tenir des trucs ou trouver d’autres trucs dans tout ce bazar !), et quelques curieuses tournant autour de l’opération, avides de détails pratiques.
Pauvre Flore qui a dû repartir en France avec une lourde valise pleine d’accessoires pour elle, sa professeure et les autres élèves de cette dernière ! Avec ça, nous sommes sûrs de voir de beaux spectacles en France ! Je vous laisse suivre le cours de cette cérémonie bien particulière au fil de photos ce des deux leçons.

All dances in India, here it’s Bharata Natyam from Tamil Nadu, requires the knowledge of the technical expressions of steps, hands (mudras) and face (even the eyes!), but also a knowledge of all the details of clothes, jewels and make-up.
Between one hour and a half and two hours of preparation with Sujatha as chief of construction work, me as photograph and punctual assistant (for bringing stuff, keeping stuff or finding other stuff inside this whole bazar!), and some curious girls turning around avid of practical details.
Poor Flore who had to come back
to France with a heavy luggage full of accessories for herself, for her French teacher and the other students of this last! With this, we can be sure to see nice performances in France! Now I let
